The Portland, OR based singer, songwriter, and producer graduated from Berklee College of Music where he was immersed in a tradition of focused music analysis. With influences deep and varied, he blends genres to create something new, yet familiar.

Looking to reclaim the recording process from previously drawn out projects, he recorded, mixed and released his latest EP ‘Old-Growth Forest’ in summer of 2026. A collection of songs written through the years, reimagined and captured in an intimate home recording environment.

Things are just heating up for West in 2026 ahead of his debut album release, ‘A Day That’s Not the Same’, out on November 6th. Lead single ‘Better Off’ is streaming now. West’s follow up single, ‘Somewhere Quiet’ will be released on September 18th. Craving humanity and feeling through performance, West chose to record the album live to analog tape. The productive imperfections will transport you to the front row of a concert.
